The Pet & Home Handoff Checklist
A calm way to prepare your pet, your home, and the person caring for both. Made for pet owners in Bethany and Rock Creek—and useful wherever you live.
Before care begins
Write down the things you normally do without thinking.
The most useful handoff is specific. Where is the leash? What does “time to eat” actually look like? Which sound makes your dog nervous? Complete this with the caregiver during the meet and greet, then leave a copy somewhere easy to find.
Keep sensitive details offline
Do not email or submit door codes, alarm information, key locations, or other private access details through a public form. Share them directly using the method you and the caregiver agree on.
